VIDEO: 2017 3-Star RB Commit Connor Wedington Talks Recruitment

Rivals.com spoke with 2017 three-star Sumner (Wash.) running back and Washington commit Connor Wedington following the 2016 MayMadness event at Foster High School.

On MayMadness performance..."You know it was great. Came out here and won fastest man [and] trying to win every single rep I could. I was just getting in there and competing. Best competition out here, the best competition around the region so it was great competing."

On building a relationship with Jacob Sirmon..."Whenever we see each other at camps and stuff we always run up to each other. It goes back to like freshman year, we've always had that connection and it might be a connection at the next level too."

On recruiting and new offers..."Those offers I definitely put in consideration and I appreciate every offer. It just means all that hard work is paying off and I'm just going through the process and taking it slow."

On camps and summer visits..."I'm going to the Nike Opening [regional] and I'm probably going to do both UDub camps and that's about it, we'll see."

On working out as a defensive back and running back..."Well I'm going there [Washington] as a running back at first but I'm willing to play anywhere the team needs me. I'm just going to help the team the best I can."

On things he'd like to improve on..."I want to get bigger. I'm 190-pounds right now but it's kind of lean muscle. I kind of want to bulk up a little bit [and] want to keep getting faster, keep getting stronger and definitely I want to work on my pass blocking more because I'm definitely going to need that."
